School starts at 08.55am and finishes at 3.00pm.

Q: How do I report my child absent from school?

Please ring school reception on the first day of absence on 01933 304950

Q: Are we entitled to take a family holiday during term time?

No. If a parent / carer takes a child on a family holiday during term time they may receive a £60 fine as a result.

Q: How do I apply for free school meals?

Please contact Mrs R Stockham Assistant Headteacher at school.

Q: What should I do if I change my phone number or place of work?

Please contact school reception as soon as possible in order that we can update our records. These are essential in the unlikely event that we have to contact you in an emergency.

Q: How can I help my son / daughter with their homework?

There are two main things that you can do at home to support your child’s education: Read – ask your child to read to you. Maths – do functional maths together, for example, weighing items for cooking, distances / times when travelling in the car, every day money

How do I contact my child’s class teacher?

Through your child’s home / school book or by contacting reception on 01933 304950 and asking for a message to be left for the class teacher to contact you back when he / she becomes available. This is also the best method of communication if your child has a problem at school that you would like to discuss.
