Friars Academy is an outstanding special school catering for 145 students with cognition and learning needs and autism. Our curriculum is focused on Life Skills and provides links to many local partners supporting with work experience opportunities for our Key Stage 4 students, to school based visits supporting our Key Stage 3 students with their knowledge of the local community and its context.
We have a highly experienced and dedicated team of professionals who support our students in all aspects of life, not just the formal teaching curriculum.
