The overarching responsibility for the governance of the Trust and its' Academies lies with the Group's Board of Trustees. The Trustees are responsible for setting and monitoring strategic objectives, as well as compliance with charity and company law, and the Group's funding agreement.

The board has appointed the following sub-committees:

  • The Finance, Human Resources, Estates and Audit Committee.
  • The Teaching and Learning Committee.
  • The Local Governing Bodies.

Day-to-day responsibilities are delegated by the Board of Trustees to each of these committees/bodies and the executive head through the Trust's scheme of delegations.

The Finance, Human Resources, Estates and Audit Committee is comprised of the following:

  • The Chair, being the Trust's Finance Director/Trustee
  • Chair of the Board of Trustees
  • Human Resources Director/Trustee
  • Chairs of the Local Governing bodies of each school
  • The Trust Executive Head (attendee)

The Teaching and Learning Committee is comprised of the following:

  • The Chair, being the Trust's SEN Teaching and Learning Director
  • The Trust Executive Head (attendee)
  • Trust Commercial Director
